UN-Habitat has supported UCLG, UNDP, Diputació de Barcelona and with the support of European Commission, to develop the Training of Trainers (ToT) modules to multiply the knowledge about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) localizing process in all its dimensions, concentrating on different issues related to the localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This Training of Trainers methodology was developed to provide local and regional governments, as well as their national associations and local actors, practical guides to implementing the SDGs, training trainers, consolidating a UCLG learning community and identifying focal points on the UCLG regional sections that would be responsible for multiplying the SDG localization trainers locally. It consists of four modules: Introduction, Territorial Planning & the SDGs; Monitoring & Reporting; Decentralized Cooperation.
